| Your story | Toyota Brackenfell in Cape Town agreed to replace my Tyres more than 2 months ago. No luck yet. Keep on hearing I am next on the list. Are they working on a budget and can only do 1 a month?? |

Reply from Ferdi:
Hi Rohan
Thank you for the information. Will forward this to the relevant parties.
It seems as if the supply of the alternative spec tyres is a challenge at this stage (not from the supplier’s side, but within our distribution network), but we are working flat out to overcome this.
Best regards
Ferdi

Subject: Fortuner Tyres
Good morning Rohan,
Thank you for the enquiry regarding the delay tyre delay for the Fortuner
belonging to Eugene Stevenson. Unfortunately we, at Toyota South Africa are
at the mercy of Continental Tyres who are frantically manufacturing the
“new spec” General Grabber for Fortuner vehicles. The sudden demand for
these tyres has unfortunately led to a backlog in stock levels but I assure
you that Mr Stevenson will receive tyres very shortly. Mr Jaco Barnard,
Service Advisor at Imperial Motors Brackenfell has assured me that he will
call him as soon as the tyres have arrived.
Please be assured of my sincere interest in all Toyota customers.
Regards,
Peter M Stevens
